How do edition links work?

Updated:

Each report edition has a secret link; it needs no login and is closed to search engines. A new edition gets a new link; an old link shows the old report.

A measurement's report is shared with an edition link (yayın bağlantısı). The link carries your domain and a secret key that belongs to that edition alone.

Who can open it?

Anyone who knows the link can open the report; no login is required. So keep the link like a password and share it only with the people who need to see the report. Report pages are closed to search engines.

We do not store the key itself, only a trace sufficient to verify it. That is why the link is given to you once and cannot be viewed again from the panel. If you lose it, a new link has to be issued.

The same report can also be opened with the English interface: just replace /tr/ at the start of the address with /en/.

When a new measurement of the same brand is published, it gets a new link. The old link keeps working and shows the old report unchanged; the numbers a link shows never change afterwards.

The following warning appears at the top of the old report: "A newer report has been published to replace this one" ("Bu raporun yerine daha yenisi yayımlandı"). The warning says that the old numbers are still correct but no longer current. The warning deliberately does not include the new report's link: ask the person who shared the report with you for the new link.

Before publication and after revocation

  • A link can be opened before the report is approved. In that case the page says the report is not live yet and that it will open at the same address once it is published.
  • Links have no expiry date.
  • When necessary, we can revoke a link or replace it with a new one. A revoked link no longer opens.

Printing

The report's period page has a "Print as PDF" ("PDF olarak yazdır") button, which uses your browser's print feature. There is no separate PDF file generated on the server. For how to read the report, see How to read the report summary.
